Rafael Leao Requests AC Milan Exit: Arsenal & Man Utd linked
Rafael Leao has signaled his desire to leave AC Milan as his agents offer the winger to Arsenal and Manchester United. While Galatasaray has tabled a formal bid, the Rossoneri are holding out for a fee of at least €50-60 million.

Rafael Leao has made his move. Characteristically, he has chosen a path that defies conventional market logic, potentially placing both himself and AC Milan in a precarious position. The Portuguese forward has formally signaled his desire to depart the Rossoneri, yet he has done so without a pre-existing agreement with a new club. Furthermore, no formal offers have arrived at Milan’s headquarters in via Aldo Rossi, a situation complicated by the club’s currently delicate management landscape.
The momentum is being driven by his representatives, who are traversing Europe to pitch their client and gauge lucrative opportunities.
According to reports from The Times, a new suitor has joined Manchester United and Newcastle in the pursuit. Arsenal has emerged as a potential destination, though it must be noted that no formal negotiations are currently underway. Instead, the player was proactively offered by his agents to the Gunners' hierarchy, who remain in the market for a forward after missing out on Gordon, who joined Barcelona.
To date, the only tangible proposal fielded by Leao’s camp originates from a destination the 1999-born talent does not consider a priority. Galatasaray has reportedly tabled a multi-year contract worth a net €8 million per season, supplemented by an additional €2 million in bonuses, figures that comfortably eclipse the €7 million total he currently earns at Milanello.
As for AC Milan, the club has acknowledged the situation but remains firm on its valuation. Any suitor wishing to secure Leao must be prepared to pay a premium. While the club may accept a figure below the €175 million release clause, it is understood that it "will need at least 50/60 million euros" to sanction a sale. So far, no interested party has come close to meeting that threshold.
